1. Overview
Crow Vision ("we", "us", "our") operates an AI-powered English learning platform that includes AI-based speaking assessment and practice. This Privacy Policy describes the information we collect to provide that service, how it is used and shared, and how it can be deleted.
2. Voice recordings
To power AI-based English speaking assessment and practice, we collect and process student voice recordings during speaking sessions. These recordings are used to evaluate the student's spoken English and to generate feedback and practice responses in real time.
3. Transcripts and AI-generated scores
We store transcripts of speaking sessions and AI-generated assessment scores. These transcripts and scores are shared with the student's teacher and, for minor students, with the parent or guardian listed on the account, so that they can review progress and support the student's learning.
4. Service providers
To operate the platform we use the following AI service providers, which process data solely to deliver the service on our behalf: ElevenLabs (real-time voice conversation) and Anthropic (AI assessment and feedback generation). These providers are bound to process data only as necessary to provide their services to us.
5. We do not sell your data
We do not sell student data. We do not share student data with any third parties outside of the AI service providers listed above that are necessary to operate the platform.
6. Children's privacy and data deletion
For students under 18, a parent or legal guardian may request access to, or deletion of, the student's data. To request data deletion, parents or guardians of minor students may contact ceo@crowvision.org.
7. Data retention
Student data is retained for the duration of enrollment and for a limited period afterward as needed to support the student's progress. Data is deleted upon a verified deletion request from a parent or guardian of a minor student, or from the account holder.
